St. Anthony on the Desert Capital Campaign

Welcome to the St. Anthony on the Desert Capital Stewardship Program:
Infinite Blessings...Imagine!

And in this matter I am giving my advice: it is appropriate for you who began last year not only to do something but even to desire to do something...now finish doing it, so that your eagerness may be matched by completing it according to your means. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has...not according to what one does not have. 2 Corinthians 8:10-12

Like the people in Corinth, last year the members of St. Anthony, with great eagerness, began to address the mortgage debt by kicking off the Infinite Blessings Imagine Campaign. This year, as St. Paul reminds us, we need to finish doing it. As of March 31, we have total pledges received of $561,250, and have collected $170,700.00 toward our Cornerstone Goal of $600,000. We have also been able to make payments to mortgage of $126,166. What is even more significant is that with the extra payments we have made on the mortgage, we have saved over $430,000 in interest over the life of the loan!

During the last year, there has been a lot of enthusiasm generated about many of the new and renewed ministries here at St. Anthony. Finishing our work with the Capital Campaign will allow us to explore even more new ministries, and to expand our existing ones. St. Anthony s eagerness will be matched by completing the task of eliminating the mortgage debt according to our means.

Wednesday Worship
Holy Communion & Healing Service
This noonday service combines prayers for healing with a celebration of the Eucharistic. This intimate service is held in our Chapel of St. Luke the Physician. Laying on of hands is offered for those seeking healing.

Sunday Worship
Holy Communion 8:00 a.m. Are you an early riser? Join us for a more intimate service of Holy Eucharist with organ and cantor.

Holy Communion 10:00 a.m. This service time meets the needs of many families as we offer a staffed nursery as well as programs for children and youth. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated with gifted musical support from our various choirs.

Third Sunday As the name suggests on the Third Sunday of each month (September through May) our 10 am service provides a special emphasis on children and youth. A bit more abbreviated liturgy incorporates a children’s sermon time and showcases our talented Chalice Players as they provide a dramatic rendering of our scripture stories.
